Juno<\/strong>, released in 2007<\/p>\n

Juno finds out she’s pregnant but she’s only 16. After a distressing visit to a clinic she decides to have the baby. But she realizes she’s too young to raise it herself — she’ll give it up for adoption. Not to just anyone, though — they have to be a nice couple.<\/p>\n

It isn’t quite as funny as I remembered, but it’s still a brilliant movie. Juno is a delightfully quirky character.<\/p>\n

It’s about doing what’s right for you.<\/p>\n

Elliot Page almost steals the show but the supporting cast is terrific too.<\/p>\n

Stars Michael Cera, Allison Janney, J.K. Simmons, Jennifer Garner, and Jason Bateman. Directed by Jason Reitman (Up in the Air<\/strong>). The soundtrack contains unique songs by Kimya Dawson and others.<\/p>\n
