In “Aurora” they find an Ancient ship with all of its crew in stasis. When McKay discovers that they’re communicating with each other in stasis, Sheppard goes into stasis himself to find out what they’re saying. In “Duet” McKay and Laura Cadman are dematerialized by a Wraith Dart. When Atlantis people dematerialize them, only one appears — McKay. But he quickly discovers that Cadman’s consciousness is residing in his brain alongside his own. The season ends with an exciting cliffhanger — luckily I don’t have to wait to find out what happens.<\/p>\n

Season 2 of Stargate Atlantis<\/strong> originally aired in 2005-06. It continues with the quality of episodes from the last part of season 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ongoing story has some interesting developments — they’re not just fighting the Wraith over and over again.<\/p>\n

One of my favourite characters is Dr. Lindsey Novak, played by Ellie Harvie (The New Addams Family<\/strong>). Unfortunately we only see her a couple of times. She’s a nervous, talented, and funny engineer who works on the Daedalus.<\/p>\n

Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones<\/strong>) plays Ronon — when we meet him he’s been fighting the Wraith alone for years. Paul McGillion (Sanctuary<\/strong>) plays Carson, the doctor. And Mitch Pileggi (The X-Files<\/strong>) plays Colonel Caldwell, the commander of the starship Daedalus — it’s nice to see him again.<\/p>\n

Peter Woodward (Crusade<\/strong>) shows up as a guest star. Colm Meaney (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/strong>) reprises his role from season 1. And Connor Trinneer (Star Trek: Enterprise<\/strong>) drops by for a visit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
