Do you have any more of the little crispy crab cakes?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bulworth<\/strong>, released in 1998<\/p>\n<p>Senator Jay Bulworth has had enough &#8212; after 3 days of not eating or sleeping he arranges to have himself killed. He also gets himself a life insurance policy of $10 million payable to his daughter. But then he changes his mind &#8212; and he&#8217;s having trouble reaching the person who&#8217;s supposed to kill him. He has an epiphany on the campaign trail &#8212; he starts telling the truth.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of my favourite movies. It should be required viewing by political candidates.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s both important and hilarious. One of my favourite parts is when Jay starts rapping.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s about blacks and whites, rich and poor, politicians and constituents. It&#8217;s about having the guts to do what&#8217;s right even when everyone around you is saying it&#8217;s wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Stars Warren Beatty and Halle Berry. It also features Oliver Platt, Don Cheadle, and Christine Baranski. Directed by Warren Beatty (<strong>Reds<\/strong>). The soundtrack is populated by in-your-face songs that fit with the movie very well.<\/p>\n<p>This is probably the 3rd time I&#8217;ve seen it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{5\/5} &#8220;Miss?
