He&#8217;s also scored some movies, and is possibly retired. His flute theme from <strong>TNG<\/strong>&#8216;s &#8220;The Inner Light&#8221; became deservedly popular.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Best of Star Trek &#8211; 30th Anniversary Special!\n<ul>\n<li>Orchestral Suite from the Inner Light<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Bruno Coulais<\/h2>\n<p>Coulais has scored many French movies. He has\/had great relationships with Joel Schumacher\u00a0and Tony Scott. Most of the <strong>Prometheus<\/strong> soundtrack was written by Marc Streitenfeld but Gregson-Williams contributed a couple of tracks. He&#8217;s brought this in-your-face style to several movies, and often works with Hans Zimmer. Upcoming work includes <strong>The Dark Tower<\/strong> and <strong>Justice League<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mad Max: Fury Road\n<ul>\n<li>Brothers In Arms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Heitor Pereira<\/h2>\n<p>Pereira&#8217;s score for <strong>Despicable Me<\/strong> is immediately recognizable and fits the tone of the movie perfectly. Upcoming work includes <strong>The Jesuit<\/strong> and <strong>Despicable Me 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Despicable Me 2\n<ul>\n<li>Going To Save the World<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Max Steiner<\/h2>\n<p>Steiner composed for movies from the 1910s to the 1960s. He was one of the first composers to score individual movie scenes, and was very influential. As a child, he received piano lessons from Johannes Brahms.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 Greatest Film Themes\n<ul>\n<li>Gone With the Wind &#8211; Tara&#8217;s Theme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Piero Umiliani<\/h2>\n<p>Umiliani composed music for many Italian films. His piece &#8220;Mah N\u00e0 Mah N\u00e0&#8221; was later popularized by the Muppets.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Svezia, inferno e paradiso (Sweden: Heaven and Hell)\n<ul>\n<li>Mah n\u00e0 mah n\u00e0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Nigel Westlake<\/h2>\n<p>Westlake hasn&#8217;t been prolific as a movie composer, but he also composes, conducts, and plays clarinet outside of movies.
