Inside Man<\/strong>, released in 2006<\/p>\n During a bank robbery in New York all the hostages are forced to wear the same jumpsuits as the robbers, so the police have a difficult time telling them apart. It turns out that the robbers aren’t interested in money — they just want the contents of one safety deposit box. A very powerful man will do anything to make sure that they don’t get it.<\/p>\n This is a perfect movie. I wish I could watch it again for the first time to feel the surprise.<\/p>\n The unfolding of the robbery is shown interspersed with scenes of interrogation of the hostages\/robbers.<\/p>\n It’s about the execution of a brilliant plan. It’s about people making deals to get what they want. It’s about what it’s like for people caught up in a dangerous situation.<\/p>\n Stars Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, Jodie Foster, and Christopher Plummer. Directed by Spike Lee (Malcolm X<\/strong>).
