The Ivory Tomb

{4.5/5} “Maybe someday she’ll break and cross a line that she can’t imagine crossing now. Maybe over the centuries she’ll lose her grip and descend into some darker place. Right now, I can tell you that we’d have three more demons devastating Eruvia without her help, and she’s not doing any more harm than you or I… We need her to get the job done.”

The Ivory Tomb by Melissa Caruso, published in 2022

Hunger let the remaining demons into the world, so now they’re all free. Three of them are on the side of humanity, more or less. Two of them are trapped in a castle, for now. That leaves four capable of unleashing unimaginable chaos. When Carnage shows up, the Rookery manages to drop her and the bridge she was standing on into a valley.

This is the sequel to The Quicksilver Court and completes the trilogy.

It’s about working with helpful demons in order to defeat catastrophic demons. It’s about finding time between big events to fall in love.

This is a trilogy that all fantasy fans will want to read.

I’ve read 6 books by Caruso.
