Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

{4.5/5} “Welcome to my top secret files.”

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, released in 2024

Years ago Wallace and Gromit caught Feathers McGraw trying to steal a diamond. Feathers is sort of in jail — he’s at the zoo. Wallace and Gromit haven’t been making much money lately. But then Wallace invents a robot that cleans people’s yards. When Feathers hears about the robot, he decides now is the time for revenge.

It’s lots of fun. Wallace and Gromit are as charming as ever, and Feathers is suitably menacing.

There are lots of nice little visual details, like Feathers sweating when the guard almost wakes up. There are also clever references to other movies as varied as James Bond, Batman Returns, and Aliens.

Stars Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, and Lauren Patel. Directed by Nick Park (Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit) and Merlin Crossingham (key animator on Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit). The music is composed by Lorne Balfe and Julian Nott, with a little help from Bach.
