Dragons: Riders of Berk (season 1)
{4.5/5} “Why Bucket, every day’s a good day for luggin’ sheep.”
In the two-part “Heather Report” a new girl shows up on Berk — everyone welcomes her except Astrid, who’s suspicious of her. In the two-part “We Are Family” Hiccup finds a map leading to an island of night furies — unfortunately the map is a ruse by Alvin the Treacherous. In “When Lightning Strikes” severe lightning storms make the villagers think that Thor is angry at them — Mildew convinces everyone that it’s because of Toothless, Hiccup’s dragon.
Dragons: Riders of Berk is a cartoon that’s set in the world of How to Train Your Dragon. The first season finished about a month ago. I already reviewed the official premiere.
The kids and their dragons work together to solve problems. Sometimes the problems are of their own making, unintentionally.
There isn’t a lot of character development, but it’s a fun show.
This show is a worthy successor to the movie. A second season is forthcoming.
