Burn Notice (season 2)

{5/5} “If we looked for everyone who tried to kill you, we’d do nothing else.”

Michael’s new handler Carla demands that he do jobs for her once in a while — meanwhile, he tries to find out everything he can about her. Fiona decides to stop trying to be Michael’s girlfriend. And Sam’s girlfriend Veronica wants him to marry her. One day Michael’s ex-fiancée shows up, someone he’s never told any of his friends or family about. On another day someone tries to blow Michael up, so he then tries to find out who that was.

Burn Notice season 2 originally aired in 2008-09. As with season 1, every episode is brilliant — both funny and interesting.

Michael, Sam, and Fiona are all very good at what they do. They have worked together enough that they can speak in code, when they’re being overheard, and be understood.

Sam and Fiona occasionally argue about who is more important to Mike when they’re on the job.

Tricia Helfer (the TV show Battlestar Galactica) plays Carla and Michael Shanks (the TV show Stargate SG-1) plays Victor, a colleague of hers. John Mahoney (the TV show Frasier) makes an appearance in the season finale.
