New Girl (season 3)

{4/5} “Have you seen a girl who looks like me, but with chaos in her eyes?”

Nick and Jess have just decided they’re a couple, so they run off to Mexico to spend some time together. Schmidt finds he can’t choose between Cece and Elizabeth, who both say they love him. And Winston finds out his girlfriend has been cheating on him so he takes her cat. Later Jess gets an opportunity to take a different job, Cece decides she’s tired of modelling, and Winston wants to make a decision because he’s never made one before.

New Girl season 3 just finished. Like season 2, some episodes are better than others.

Jess is a great character, and Cece is OK, but the other main characters are sometimes a bit annoying.

It seems like the character of Winston is the one that the writers have least figured out — they just give him something strange to do once in a while.

Damon Wayans, Jr. (the TV show Happy Endings) plays Coach, who returns after last having been seen in the very first episode.

Prince (Purple Rain) plays himself in a fun episode where an employee of his invites Jess and Cece to a party. Jon Lovitz (Big) plays a rabbi Schmidt goes to seek advice from. Linda Cardellini (the TV show ER) plays Abby, Jess’s sister — the first time we see her she’s in jail.

The show will be back for a fourth season.

I’d gotten tired of some of the characters on this show and didn’t watch season 4.
