Love is All You Need

{4.5/5} “I really don’t understand why anybody will work for you. When… when you’re so awful and stupid and not nice.”

Love is All You Need, released in 2012

Ida is a hairdresser who’s had cancer but is free of it at the moment — she finds out her husband is having an affair. Philip is the manager of a fruit and vegetable company and is brusque with everyone he meets. Ida and Philip meet at the airport where they discover they’re both flying to Italy — for the marriage of Ida’s daughter to Philip’s son. It’s about finding the courage to do what you really want to do. It’s a Danish movie, and Pierce Brosnan stars.

Directed by Susanne Bier (Things We Lost in the Fire).
