Ratatouille

{4.5/5} “Anyone can cook.”

Ratatouille, released in 2007

A rat that cooks? It seems like an absurd premise, but the people at Pixar make it work. Remy is different from all the other rats — he wants to eat good food rather than garbage. He makes a deal with a human, Linguini, who’s working in a restaurant kitchen — Remy will provide the cooking know-how and Linguini will provide the arms to do things. It’s a funny and charming story. Patton Oswalt and Peter O’Toole provide voices. Directed by Brad Bird and Jan Pinkava.

This is the second or third time I’ve seen it.

I previously reviewed Bird’s movie Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol.
