Anna

{4.5/5} “I’m not a sociopath, but I’m smart enough to think like one.”

Anna, released in 2013

John is a memory detective — he has the ability to enter someone’s memories. After the death of his wife and a stroke, he’s taken some time off but now wants to get back in business. His employer gives him an “easy” job — a girl named Anna who is refusing to eat. It’s an interesting mystery as you follow John’s path to the truth. There might be 1 or 2 scenes missing that would be needed to make it totally believable, like Snow White and the Huntsman, but I mostly enjoyed it. Mark Strong and Brian Cox star.

Directed by Jorge Dorado (the TV show The Ministry of Time).
