Agent Carter (season 1)

{4.5/5} “I conducted my own investigation because no one listens to me. I got away with it because no one looks at me. Because unless I have your reports, your coffee, or your lunch, I am invisible.”

Agent Carter season 1, aired in 2015

It’s 1946 and Captain America is gone. Peggy Carter returns to work for the SSR, a secret service organization in New York. Carter’s co-workers think her skills lie in getting their lunches but she has a big surprise for them. She’s secretly working with Howard Stark to find out who stole some highly dangerous items. It’s a spinoff of Captain America: The First Avenger, as Carter worked closely with Captain America in that movie. It’s a fun show with an interesting storyline, a likeable main character, and lots of humour. Hayley Atwell plays Carter, and does so splendidly. I hope there will be a season 2.

Created by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely (writers on Avengers: Endgame).
