Groundhog Day

{5/5} “There is no way that this winter is ever going to end as long as this groundhog keeps seeing his shadow. I don’t see any other way out. He’s got to be stopped. And I have to stop him.”

Groundhog Day, released in 1993

Phil is a weather man. He wakes up every morning in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and it’s February 2nd. As he relives the same day over and over, he gets to know the people of the town. There’s one person he’s become particularly fond of — his producer, Rita. This movie is brilliant and hilarious — one of my all-time favourites. Stars Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.

Directed by Harold Ramis (Caddyshack).

I’ve seen it 3 or 4 times.
