Avengers: Age of Ultron

{4/5} “The city is flying and we’re fighting an army of robots. And I have a bow and arrow. Nothing makes sense.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron, released in 2015

Tony Stark and Bruce Banner create an artificial intelligence named Ultron to protect the planet. But things go wrong and Ultron decides he wants to destroy the planet instead. The Avengers must work together to defeat Ultron, as well as twins with powers Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. There were many great moments in this movie, including lots of humour. There were also some confusing things, and the conflict between the main characters seemed a bit forced. Stars Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo. Directed by Joss Whedon (writer of In Your Eyes).

I saw the movie in D-Box, where the chair moves with the action — I feel (as with 3D) that it’s unnecessary and possibly even distracting.

A 2-part sequel, Avengers: Infinity War, is forthcoming.

I previously reviewed the first movie.
