The Intern

{5/5} “You’re never wrong for doing the right thing.”

The Intern, released in 2015

Ben is retired and looking for something to do. Jules heads up a company that sells clothing over the internet. Someone at her company decides to start a senior intern program, and Ben signs up. Jules doesn’t think an intern is for her, but Ben makes himself very useful around the office.

Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro are both delightful, so why not throw them together? They’re delightful together in this movie.

It’s about friendship, integrity, and the idea that senior citizens have useful knowledge to share.

I loved this movie — it’s funny and serious.

Stars Rene Russo and Adam DeVine. Directed by Nancy Meyers (Something’s Gotta Give).
