Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (season 2)

{4.5/5} “‘No one in New York ever wants to high five.’ ‘That’s dumb. What do they do when truckasaurus eats a car?'”

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season 2, aired in 2016

Kimmy is supposed to be studying for her GED but she keeps helping Dong not get deported. It turns out Titus is technically married and his wife decides to sue him. Lillian tries to do everything she can to fight neighbourhood gentrification — including handcuffing herself to a bulldozer. Jacqueline buys a painting that eats up all the money from her divorce settlement.

Kimmy is still hilarious. The other characters are sometimes funny and sometimes not so funny.

Stars Carol Kane and Jane Krakowski.

Tina Fey joins the cast as Kimmy’s therapist. Jeff Goldblum plays a terrible TV psychologist. And Lisa Kudrow plays Kimmy’s mom.

The end credit music is always different and worth listening to.

I previously reviewed season 1.
