Jack Reacher: Never Go Back

{4.5/5} “You’re very intense, you know that?”

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, released in 2016

Jack Reacher has been communicating with Major Turner by phone in order to hunt down a group of human traffickers. When he finally comes to town to meet her in person he is stunned to find she’s been arrested — for espionage. He’s suspicious about this, and soon finds he’s being chased by the same people who are chasing her. Meanwhile, Reacher finds out he might have a 15-year-old daughter.

This is the sequel to Jack Reacher.

It’s a great action movie, with some funny moments. Reacher has been a loner for some time, but how will that work if this kid turns out to be his daughter?

Stars Tom Cruise and Cobie Smulders. Directed by Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai). The standard action-movie music is by Henry Jackman.
