Gotham (season 3)

{5/5} “I was alive. Then I was dead. Then I was alive. Things are looking up.” — Fish

Gotham season 3, aired in 2016-17

Jim Gordon tracked down Lee but she’s now with another man. Back in Gotham Jim is a bounty hunter. Fish Mooney is back in town, and she now has a special ability — she can make people do what she wants by touching them. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne confronts the secret group running the nefarious parts of Wayne Enterprises. The Penguin has the people on his side — so he decides to run for mayor. Edward Nygma gets out of Arkham with the Penguin’s help.

It’s another season of gleeful madness.

It’s still violent and disturbing a fair amount of the time, so you wouldn’t want to watch it every day. The season finale is as dark as it’s ever been, with a slightly lighter shade of dark in the last few seconds.*

Stars David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova, and Erin Richards.

Jamie Chung joins the cast as reporter Valerie Vale.

I previously reviewed season 2.

Spoiler alert

*Bruce Wayne is taking his first steps towards becoming Batman.
