In Plain Sight

{4.5/5} In Plain Sight, aired in 2016

In the 1950s in a small town in Scotland the residents are shocked to find that women are being murdered. A serial killer is on the loose, and Detective William Muncie knows who it is. It’s Peter Manuel, who has previously been in prison for robbery. Muncie is unable to provide enough evidence for the court to get a conviction, partly because Manuel’s family always provides him an alibi.

This is a British miniseries that’s based on a true story. It’s a bit serious, but is very good.

Stars Douglas Henshall and Martin Compston.
