{4/5} “A life that’s full of wonder is a wonderful life.”

Smallfoot, released in 2018

The yeti live happily on top of the mountain. Until Migo runs into a smallfoot. He tells everyone in the village but the Stonekeeper banishes him because according to the stones the smallfoot don’t exist. Migo then runs into a group of yeti who secretly believe in the smallfoot — they believe they can help him find the proof he needs.

This movie might not have the most novel of storylines, but it was made with joy and has a nice message.

There’s some silliness, but there are also some amusing parts.

Stars the voices of James Corden and Danny DeVito. Directed by Karey Kirkpatrick (Over the Hedge) and Jason Reisig (supervising animator on Kung Fu Panda). The songs sung by people like Channing Tatum and Zendaya are often quite good.
