{5/5} “It’s the new me.”

Source Code, released in 2011

A soldier wakes up in someone else’s body. He’s on a train and he has 8 minutes to find out who is planning on bombing it. When he fails, he tries again. When he returns to real life he communicates with a woman named Goodwin on a monitor but the situation seems very strange.

It’s possible I liked it even better this time. This is a brilliant movie.

It’s exciting, clever, and satisfying.

The actors completely sell the unusual situation, particularly Jake Gyllenhaal and Vera Farmiga.

Stars Michelle Monaghan, Jeffrey Wright, Russell Peters, and the voice of Scott Bakula. Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon). The mysterious music is by Chris Bacon.

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it.
