Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, released in 1993

The Phantasm is killing off bad guys and making it look like it was Batman. Some in the police force are ready to bring Batman down, but Jim Gordon knows it’s not him. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne’s old girlfriend Andrea Beaumont returns to Gotham.

There are flashbacks to a time when Bruce Wayne was happy.

It starts off a bit slow but turns into an interesting and exciting adventure.

Stars the voices of Kevin Conroy, Dana Delany, and Mark Hamill. Directed by Eric Radomski (Spawn) and Bruce W. Timm (Superman/Doomsday). The Elfman-esque music is by Shirley Walker.
