Manifest (season 1)

{4.5/5} “This is understanding what my life has become — our lives. If we can’t answer that, we’re never going to be able to get back to normal.”

Manifest season 1, aired in 2018-19

A plane lands after experiencing nothing more unusual than turbulence. But when they start talking to the people on the ground, they discover that 5 years have gone by. During those 5 years a new treatment that was created means Ben’s son has a better chance at defeating his cancer. Ben’s wife, thinking he was dead, has been seeing another man. Ben and Michaela, his sister, find that they’re hearing a voice in their head — their own.

This is a gripping story. It has a The Crossing vibe to it.

The season finale kicks things up a notch — I hope there will be a season 2.

Stars Melissa Roxburgh and Josh Dallas.

Created by Jeff Rake (The Mysteries of Laura).
