Mediocre movies with scenes worth watching

These movies might not be worth watching from start to finish, but they have some terrific scenes within them.

  • Octopussy

  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
    • At 1:51 Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and James Norrington are in a sword fight on a waterwheel that’s rolling along the ground.
  • Resident Evil: Apocalpyse
    • At 0:26 three people in a church are being menaced by gruesome creatures when Alice crashes through a window on her motorcycle and starts shooting.
  • Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
    • At 1:50 Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan engage in a light saber battle against Darth Maul, accompanied by John Williams’s glorious music.

  • Upside Down
    • There’s a scene at 0:06 that shows the glorious visuals of this movie where there are 2 planets with inverse gravity.
