Just Like Heaven

{5/5} “Maybe you’re not dead. Maybe you’re just very… light.”

Just Like Heaven, released in 2005

Elizabeth is a doctor who had been working for 26 hours when she gets in a car accident. She’s now in a coma. David is a widower who’s looking for a new place to live when he finds a place that suits him that’s available month to month. It happens to be Elizabeth’s apartment. Then Elizabeth appears to David and asks him what he’s doing there.

If you like Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo and want to see a movie where they’re funny, clever, and charming, this is the movie for you. You may have missed it the first time around — now is the time to give it a watch.

It’s a romance you won’t forget.

Stars Donal Logue, Jon Heder, and Rosalind Chao. Directed by Mark Waters (Mean Girls).
