Yes Man

{4.5/5} “You spoke at the same time as I did just then. It’s almost like you were committed to what you were saying regardless of what I was going to say.”

Yes Man, released in 2008

Carl says no to virtually everything, even when his best friend asks him to go out. After seeing an old friend who’s been on adventures and getting told off by his best friend when he missed his engagement party, Carl decides he must make a change. He becomes a “yes man” — whenever anyone asks if he wants to do something, he says yes.

This movie is very funny.

It’s about living life to the fullest.

Terence Stamp is delightful as a guru, and Rhys Darby is delightful as Carl’s boss.

Stars Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel. Directed by Peyton Reed (Ant-Man and the Wasp).

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it.
