Infinitum: Subject Unknown, released in 2021

A woman wakes up tied to a chair. She is able to get loose and explores the house she finds herself in. Each time she gets farther away, but eventually something happens and she finds herself back in the room tied to a chair. Although she sometimes hears voices or doors closing, she never sees anyone. She occasionally gets visions of an alternate world where a war is going on.

This movie is slow paced and lacks humour. Nevertheless, science fiction fans with patience might want to give it a try.

They were able to get lots of shots of her alone wherever they went, because it was shot during the lockdown.

It’s a bit of an experiment — shot with only the director, the actor’s husband, on set and on an iPhone.

It’s pretty strange. For my taste, not enough is explained.
