Sydney thinks of herself as a pretty regular high school girl until she starts developing a strange power. She can do things with her mind, particularly when she’s upset. She does it unintentionally — causing a nose bleed, some things to fall on the floor at the store, and a crack in her bedroom wall. Her dad committed suicide a year ago but she and her mom never talk about it. Meanwhile, she is just realizing that she’s gay.
Once you get started, you’ll want to find out what happens.
It’s sometimes screamingly funny, and sometimes deadly serious.
Part of the mystery gets explained in the last episode, but part doesn’t — they obviously intended to have a season 2, but it didn’t happen.
