Star Trek: Lower Decks (season 3)

{5/5} “I’m going to go give them a tour of DS9 because without me they’ll probably get lost and end up in a mirror universe with Smiley.”

Star Trek: Lower Decks season 3, aired in 2022

Captain Freeman has been arrested by Starfleet Security for destroying the Pakled capital. Mariner’s father tells her to trust the system but she isn’t going to stand by and wait for the truth to come out in court. She’s going back to the Cerritos to find the evidence and Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford are going with her.

You might have to pause to allow yourself to laugh — that’s how many hilarious things are in this show.

In one episode they visit Deep Space Nine, which was glorious.

There’s a post-credits scene after the season finale.

Guest stars include Nana Visitor, Armin Shimerman, James Cromwell, and J. G. Hertzler.

The ultimate guest star, George Takei, reprises his role of Captain Hikaru Sulu.

Stars the voices of Eugene Cordero and Gillian Vigman.

I previously reviewed season 2.
