Interviews with Star Trek actors on Shuttlepod

Shuttlepod is hosted by Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating, Trip and Malcolm on Enterprise. They have outstanding interviews with people like Walter Koenig, Andrew Robinson, Nicole de Boer, and Nana Visitor. They’ve also talked to a small number of behind-the-scenes people, like Rick Berman and Brannon Braga.

In addition to talking about Star Trek specifically, they discuss the craft of acting — how they got into the business, and what it’s like to go on auditions.

Trinneer and Keating are superb interviewers, and no matter who the subject is they always manage to get to some stories that I’ve never heard before.

In the interview with Cirroc Lofton, Jake Sisko on Deep Space Nine, Lofton has a suggestion I’ve never heard anyone express before. Because studios that employ child actors are taking something away from them, they should look after them in some way after they’re no longer children.
