Joe, Albert, and Willie worked for the same company for 30 years but have lost their pensions. Joe has been at the same bank for 40 years, but now they’re threatening to foreclose on his house, which he shares with his daughter and granddaughter. He witnesses a robbery while he’s at the bank, and gets the idea that maybe he and his friends could rob a bank too.
This movie is a lot of fun.
I like the cleverness of the plan.
Ann-Margret, Joey King, and Christopher Lloyd have small but fun parts.
Stars Michael Caine, Alan Arkin, and Morgan Freeman. Directed by Zach Braff (Wish I Was Here). The playful music by Rob Simonsen grabs you right away.
