Mills has taken a 2-year job in order to earn money to cure his daughter. He is awakened early by the computer on board his ship because of an asteroid storm — he ends up crashing on a planet. At first he thinks he’s the only survivor, but then he finds a young girl, Koa. He comes across a giant footprint in the mud — and it looks like a dinosaur.
If you’ve seen all the Jurassic movies and you want more human vs. dinosaur action, this is the movie for you.
It’s about doing whatever it takes for a girl you just met, and the ruthlessness of the natural world.
It’s a bit intense at times.
It’s worth watching for the fine visuals and the beautiful relationship between the two characters.
