Wolf
{4.5/5} “‘Not all who are bitten change. There must be something wild within. An analogue of the wolf.’ ‘Well, that lets me out. Among my people, I’m known as the guy least likely to have an analogue of the wolf.'”
Wolf, released in 1994
Will was bitten by a wolf, and now he’s feeling different. He can read without his glasses, and he can hear conversations from far away. A senior editor, after a takeover his new boss gives him the option of quitting or taking a job in Europe which he doesn’t want. If he leaves the company, a couple of fellow employees and at least one famous author have vowed to leave with him.
This movie has a great tone.
Jack Nicholson does a tremendous job of portraying someone who’s turning into a werewolf.
I like the boldness of the ending.
Stars Michelle Pfeiffer, James Spader, Christopher Plummer, and David Hyde Pierce. Directed by Mike Nichols (Charlie Wilson’s War). The mysterious music is by Ennio Morricone.
This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve seen it.
