They have essentially ended homelessness in Finland. How did they do it? It’s pretty straightforward. They gave them a home. As for the US, there’s no way it would work there, is there? Actually, a pilot project was very successful in New York. They point out that housing is a right, even in the US — they signed on to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. All that’s needed is money, which the US has, and for minds to rethink this problem.
