Having a robot that looks exactly like you is illegal, but some people are doing it anyway. Charles has his robot double do all the things he doesn’t feel like doing, like work and the boring parts of dating — while he sits at home playing video games. He regular picks up women at the ice skating rink, where he falls and they help him up. He meets Elaine that way and they start dating — but she has a robot double too.
This movie is lots of fun.
It’s about learning about humanity.
