The Lazarus Project (season 1)

{5/5} “The thing about starting a coup, is you need to make the people doing the couping feel like it was their idea.”

The Lazarus Project season 1, aired in 2022

George is an app developer who gets recruited by a top secret organization when he realizes that he is reliving days that have already happened. It turns out that the Lazarus Project can turn back time to the previous July 1st when a world ending event is happening. They have saved the world a bunch of times, but then his girlfriend dies and he wants to save her.

There are one or two holes in the story, but on the whole this is a top-notch show.

Like Better Than Us, most of the characters are pretty ruthless.

Stars Paapa Essiedu, Anjli Mohindra, and Rudi Dharmalingam.

Created by Joe Barton (Giri/Haji).
