Good Omens (season 2)
{5/5} “How much trouble can I get in for asking a few questions?”
Good Omens season 2, aired in 2023
Aziraphale and Crowley first met each other in heaven, when the universe was created. When Gabriel shows up naked at Aziraphale’s shop, he seems to have amnesia but he things something terrible is going to happen. Aziraphale asks Crowley for help. But Crowley refuses to help the angel who tried to send Aziraphale to hell during the aborted apocalypse. Beelzebub contacts Crowley and tells him he can have anything he wants if he gives up Gabriel.
It might not be quite as iconic as the world-coming-to-an-end first season, but the story is delightful. It’s about friendship.
In flashbacks we get to see Aziraphale and Crowley’s interactions with Job.
I like how Gabriel and Beelzebub have a little chat. It ends in a place where you really hope there will be another season.
Each episode ends with the theme in a different style.
Stars Miranda Richardson and Jon Hamm.
I previously reviewed season 1.
