Canadian voters, prepare to work together

There’s an election coming, in 2025 or sooner, that needs the attention of Canadian voters. People need to be thinking and talking about what they’re going to do because there’s a giant looming problem.

In Canadian history, whenever voters get tired of the Liberals they always vote for the Conservatives. That’s what’s happened every time. But now things are different. Pierre Poilievre is unacceptable as a prime minister. So Canadian voters are going to need to work together.

Most Canadians don’t want Pierre Poilievre to become prime minister. But due to the first-past-the-post system he has a chance of winning. Voters are used to voting for the party they feel like voting for: the Liberals, NDP, or Greens. We’re going to have to all decide on one party to vote for this time.

The Liberals aren’t going to win because Canadians are tired of Justin Trudeau. The Greens are wildly unlikely to win due to their lower numbers of support. I suggest that all reasonable Canadians vote for the NDP this time. Any arguments against the NDP you have aren’t really relevant because the only question you have to ask is this: Do you really want Pierre Poilievre to become prime minister?
