A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (season 1)

{4.5/5} “You missed this one. I knew it was there, but I didn’t tell you ’cause I hoped one day I’d be brave enough.”

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder season 1, aired in 2024

Pip has to do an in-depth project for school and she decides to revisit the murder of Andie, an older girl she went to school with. Everyone thinks Andie was killed by her boyfriend Sal, who committed suicide. But Pip knows Sal was a nice guy and wouldn’t kill anyone. She connects with Sal’s brother Ravi and together they try to piece together what happened.

Emma Myers gave a standout performance as Wednesday’s roommate Enid and here she headlines her own show. She pulls it off splendidly.

It has likeable characters and an interesting storyline. Pip’s investigation turns out to have a huge impact on her and other people she knows.

They wrap things up by the end, but a season 2 would be welcome.

Stars Zain Iqbal and Asha Banks.

Created by Poppy Cogan (The Fold).
