Young Sheldon (season 7)
{5/5} “‘Well, I’ll give you one thing. You got confidence.’ ‘Thank you.’ ‘You get a second thing, you’ll be unstoppable.’ ‘Sounds like I’m halfway there.'” — George & Georgie
Young Sheldon season 7, aired in 2024
Mary thinks she and Sheldon should go back home because of the tornado, but Sheldon disagrees. Sheldon is stunned to find he’s not top of the class in Heidelberg — in fact, he’s at the bottom. Georgie, Mandy, and the baby are staying at George’s and Connie is staying at Dale’s. Missy takes charge of the cooking, and she starts drinking coffee. Pastor Jeff’s wife finds some of Connie’s money and buys a TV with it. Connie brings a roulette table into the game room but Georgie is worried about the illegality.
This is the last season. There’s a spinoff, though — Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
A main character dies — the one we knew about from the other show. It’s much sadder now because we got to know him.
The show ends beautifully, and they did an astonishing job over 7 years.
Guest stars include Robert Picardo and Octavia Spencer. Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik reprise their roles in the finale.
I previously reviewed season 6.
