The Odd Life of Timothy Green
{5/5} “‘We made lots of mistakes.’ ‘Yeah, we made mistakes trying to fix our mistakes.'”
The Odd Life of Timothy Green, released in 2012
Cindy and Jim were unable to have a child themselves. In order to help them move on, they spend one evening imagining all the traits that their child would have had. They write them on paper, and bury them in the backyard. The next day Timothy, a 10-year-old boy, shows up — he has all the traits they wanted their child to have.
This is a special movie. It’s about living life to the fullest.
I like the artistic spot Timothy and Joni made for themselves in the forest.
Stars Joel Edgerton, CJ Adams, and Odeya Rush. Directed by Peter Hedges (Ben is Back).
This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it. My previous review is here.
