Remi is top in her class and going to New York to check out Columbia. She would like to go to Harvard for law and be a judge by the age of 40. Barnes is going to New York for a concert and is planning on taking a gap year to do nothing. They meet on the train. Once they get to New York she gets hit by a bike, and Barnes accompanies her to the hospital. Barnes asks her out on a date, and she says no.
This movie is about what happens when you’re so focused on your studies that you don’t have time for boys. It’s also about what happens when you meet someone who makes you rethink your priorities.
It’s about how good friends can help you sort out your feelings.
It has some very funny parts.
