Suburgatory (season 3)

{4.5/5} “And how are all your favourite sports teams doing?” — Lisa, to George

Suburgatory season 3, aired in 2014

Tessa is spending time with her mom, but then her mom leaves again. She’s actually happy to see her dad, who gives her surprising news — he thinks they should move back to New York. She’s also surprised that he has a dog. Unfortunately it’s the same dog Sheila is on the hunt for, who was supposed to be put down. Dalia hasn’t been eating but when George goes to the school to give Tessa lunch he feels sorry for Dalia and gives it to her instead.

This is the last season.

The funniest moment is when Malik is doing a musical number with a bunch of other kids and Dalia walks through unenthusiastically holding the sign she’s supposed to be holding up.

I like how whatever crazy thing Dalia says, Dallas just keeps going as if she’s said something reasonable.

Guest stars include Mae Whitman, Julia Duffy, and Tig Notaro.

Stars Carly Chaikin, Allie Grant, and Rex Lee.

I previously reviewed season 2.
