Not Dead Yet (season 1)

{4.5/5} “‘This is a dear friend of my family, Alistair Banister. And before anyone asks, yes, Banister of the handrails fortune.’ ‘Well, it’s nice to meet you. Thank you for helping me stay on the stairs.'”

Not Dead Yet season 1, aired in 2023

Nell has been away in England for 5 years with her boyfriend. She returns home, and returns to her old job at the newspaper. She’s happy that her friend Sam works at the paper, but the manager, Lexi, is a bit difficult. Nell is stuck writing obituaries. But then she starts seeing the people she’s writing about — the dead people — and no one else can see them. She decides it’s worth it to give people a respectful tribute.

This is a funny show, and is also about trying to be a bit better.

Nell’s relationship with new friend Cricket is a nice part of the show.

Guest stars include Martin Mull, Ed Begley Jr., and Rhea Perlman.

Stars Gina Rodriguez, Hannah Simone, and Lauren Ash.

Created by Casey Johns and David Windsor (The Real O’Neals).
