The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (season 2)

{5/5} “‘Are you going to row?’ ‘No. Are you?’ ‘No. The boy rows.’ ‘I don’t row.’ ‘What do you mean you don’t row? Everybody rows.’ ‘Then go ahead and row.’ ‘The boy rows.’ ‘Not this boy.’ ‘Pick up that oar.’ ‘It was your idea to get into a rowboat.'” — Midge & Benjamin

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 2, aired in 2018

Midge’s mother has moved to Paris. Midge and her father fly there to try to get her to come back. Joel quit his job, and he decides to help his father with his business. He saw Midge perform stand-up, and he wasn’t happy about it. At B. Altman Midge has been relegated to the telephone switchboard, which she’s very good at. Midge helps her friend Mary with her wedding but goes overboard at the reception.

It’s about what you might have to give up to pursue a job in show business.

Guest stars include Zachary Levi.

Stars Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, and Marin Hinkle.

I previously reviewed season 1.
