Special older movies on the big screen

The vast majority of movies I saw on the big screen were ones that had just come out. However, there were a few special times when I saw older movies that came out before. For “Joan of Arc” it was my 1st time seeing it, whereas for the others it was my 2nd or 3rd.

  • 2001: A Space Odyssey
    • I saw this in Waterloo (at the Princess) with friends
    • One of my favourites
  • Blade Runner
    • I saw this in Waterloo (at the Princess) with friends
    • One of my favourites
  • Citizen Kane
    • I saw this in Guelph (at the Bookshelf) with my friend Marita
    • One of my favourite old movies
  • Metropolis
    • I saw this in Waterloo (at First United Church) — organist Jan Overduin played live music during the movie
    • My favourite old movie
  • The Passion of Joan of Arc
    • I saw this in Toronto (at the ROM) with my friend Karen
    • This one was a bit less interesting as a movie but it was certainly a striking story, particularly as it was all true
