Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit

{4.5/5} “Get your angry mob supplies here!”

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, released in 2005

Wallace and his dog Gromit are rabbit catchers. The town has a vegetable competition and the townspeople really don’t want rabbits eating their vegetables. Of course, Wallace and Gromit are too nice to kill the rabbits so they keep them at their house — but now there are too many rabbits and they are everywhere.

If you’re in the mood for a laugh, this will hit the spot.

Wallace’s contraptions are brilliant, and Gromit’s sensibleness contrasts nicely with Wallace’s silliness.

Stars Peter Sallis, Helena Bonham Carter, and Ralph Fiennes. Directed by Nick Park (Chicken Run) and Steve Box (additional key animator on Chicken Run). The playful music is by Julian Nott, aided by Holst.

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen it.
