Cardboard Wars

{5/5} “You think she looked like Padme? Who’s Padme? What do you mean you’ll tell me later?” — C3-PO, to R2-D2

Cardboard Wars, released in 2026

C3-PO and R2-D2 are on a rebel ship that gets attacked but they manage to escape to Tatooine. When Luke buys these droids from the Jawas who have captured them, he discovers that R2-D2 has a message from Princess Leia to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Luke doesn’t know who that is but he wonders is he’s related to Ben Kenobi.

This is a hilarious recreation of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope using cardboard for all the props and costumes.

It’s very faithful to the original but also has funny extras here and there.

All Star Wars fans with a sense of humour will want to watch it.

Randall Park has a fun cameo.

Stars Zach King, Brittney Rae, and J.J. Carroll. Directed by Josh Fapp (Forsaken). The music is by Dom Fera and Andrew Gerlicher.
